IF YOU HAVE TROUBLES ACTIVATING YOUR REG-KEY PLEASE CHECK IF YOU HAVE BLANKS IN YOUR NICKNAME. UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS A BUG IN 0.9 WHICH FAILS WHEN BLANKS OR SPECIAL CHARACTERS USED IN YOUR NICKNAME REMOVE THE BLANKS OR REPLACE IT WITH _ AND PRESS ‘REQUEST KEY’ AGAIN. A FREE UPDATE FIXING THIS BUG AND SOME PERFORMANCE ISSUES WILL BE AVAILABLE SOON.

With LMF you register your iPhone at the LMF-Server and add your friends to your ‘Friends-List’. LMF shows the position of each of your friends with Google-Maps. Visibility can be turned on and off. Only your last position is stored on the server as long as ‘visible’ is switched on. We do not store your friends-list at the server. Only you in your ‘Friends-list’ knows who are your friends.

Locate My Friends (Quick-Start)

1. Get LMF from Apple’s AppStore
2. Open ‘Settings’ and enter your email and a nickname
3. Click ‘Registration’
4. An email containing your unique reg-key will be mailed to you
5. Click the "Activate-Link" in the mail you received.
6. Add your friends by their nickname and reg-key and tell your friends your nickname and regkey.
7. Locate yourself and your friends.
